Grad School, Year 2

It is official; I am teaching Aural Skills 1 & 2 again next year. I though I would be disappointed by this, but it is actually pretty comforting. I get to hone my skills and hopefully help this students out much more than my students last year. Bigger and better and whatnot.

As far as the GSWP goes, we received an email from Hepokoski/Darcy the other day containing to sample analyses and info regarding what we will be doing and what pieces we will be studying. I guess we have to have the analyses completed in advance ... that will be fun.
  1. Beethoven, Piano Trio in C Minor, op. 1 no. 3, first movement
  2. Haydn, Symphony No. 94 in G (“Surprise”), first movement
  3. Schubert, Piano Sonata in B-flat, D. 960, first movement
I love that Schubert piece.
